Biomimicry Workshops & Learning Journey 2019 (Jhb, KZN & Cape Town)

We are excited to announce that we have sponsorship from the Water Research Commission for students (from grade 10 through to Postgraduates) to complete a Biomimicry Learning Journey this year. This will include Introductory and Life’s principles workshops, as well as mentoring and additional workshops to complete a water-based design challenge. NOTE: students who attend the workshops must commit to completing the full design challenge process and submit their final design - as it is the intention of the WRC to sponsor students through the full program. Finalists that are selected in October will have the opportunity to work with BiomimicrySA and the WRC in early 2020 to determine whether their designs could be implemented in future.

The same program is available for professionals, but is not sponsored. There will be slightly discounted costs for each of the workshops and project mentoring process.

The program runs from May to October 2019.

Students & Professionals that complete the full process will receive a Biomimicry Practitioner certificate.

Open to Students & Professionals from all fields (especially: design, architecture, engineering, business, life sciences, environmental science, sustainability, software development, innovation, entrepreneurs, etc.)
